Expiration of 10% Import Surcharge & Pending Section 301 Tariffs

We are writing to share an important and positive regulatory update regarding your U.S.-bound shipments.

Expiration of Section 122 Temporary Import Surcharge

The U.S. government’s 10% temporary import surcharge (implemented under Section 122 earlier this year) is officially scheduled to expire tomorrow, July 24, 2026. Consequently, any affected cargo clearing U.S. Customs on or after July 24 will no longer be subject to this additional 10% fee.

Pending Section 301 Tariffs 

We also want to provide a quick heads-up for your forward-looking supply chain strategy. The U.S. government is currently reviewing proposed permanent duties under Section 301. These measures are currently in the final stages of review and are awaiting final sign-off.

Our teams are fully prepared for tomorrow’s surcharge expiration to ensure smooth and cost-effective clearance for your shipments. Furthermore, we are actively monitoring the development of the Section 301 tariffs and will provide further guidance as soon as specific product scopes or effective dates are confirmed.
