Customer Advisory – U.S. Grants 0% Tariff to Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia

Dear Valued Customers,

Recent reports indicate that the United States has granted 0% import tariffs on selected products from Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia under newly announced trade arrangements.

This initiative is part of the U.S. effort to strengthen economic cooperation with ASEAN countries and diversify supply chains away from China.

  • Thailand will receive tariff exemptions on certain exports, while committing to purchase over USD 20 billion of U.S. agricultural, energy, and aviation products.
  • Malaysia will enjoy 0% tariffs on aerospace equipment, pharmaceuticals, and key commodities including palm oil, cocoa, and rubber.
  • Cambodia will also benefit under the same framework, while Indonesia is reportedly seeking a similar agreement.

We will continue to monitor the policy details and provide further updates once the full product list and implementation timeline are released.

This development may potentially increase export demand and logistics activity from these origins in the coming months.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
