China government is still under a strict policy of zero-covid. Few months right after the lockdown lifted at Shanghai, Beilun, core of Ningbo Port in East China's Zhejiang Province, has tightened epidemic control measures once again after new COVID-19 cases were reported, which posed new challenges to a part of China that plays an important role in international trading.

All the public places are closed and the residents of Beilun are requested to stay at home per the current regulation announced by the authorities. Container yards and the hubs are all temporary closed, but the terminal will remain functional during the lockdown. Truckers from near areas are not allowed to enter Ningbo city till further lift of the restriction be announced. However, the lockdown is expected to be extended as more infections have occurred.

Under this situation, we suggest you check with your Ningbo vendors if they’ve been affected by the lockdown proactively to prevent any potential risks of your supply chain.
